The Mission of The L.I.S.A Project NYC is to bring a diverse group of artists together in NYC to help create the beggining of mural arts districts, starting with Little Italy on historic Mulberry Street in 2012. That dream now has grown into a premiere public arts program reaching into SoHo, Lower Eastside, East Village, Chinatown and Chelsea. The project encourages New Yorkers, art fans and tourists alike to visit or revisit Little Italy and all of Lower Manhattan to view and photograph the art work.
With millions of visitors and online views of the work from 2012-2015 and counting we are off to an amazing start! Receiving both national and international critical acclaim, with coverage, in Huffington Post, Wall Street Journal and a piece on NBC News New York. The L.I.S.A. Project NYC has proven itself as a leader in cultural contributions to our city in all forms of media. With that proven success, we expanded our vision with the Annual Lower Manhattan Arts Festival or the “LoMan Art Fest” in August 2015.
The L.I.S.A. Project NYC is a 501c3 non-profit was conceived by, and is under the creative direction of Wayne P. Rada.
